Matt is a highly qualified USCG Unlimited Tonnage and Horsepower Engineer with over a decade of experience in ship repair, marine surveying, and vessel operations. As an assistant port engineer, he has played a critical role in eight major overhaul projects for Military Sealift Command vessels up to 780 feet in length. Additionally, he has led the overhaul of seven Naval Patrol vessels (110’) as the Lead Port Engineer.
Currently serving as a Senior Marine Engineer, Matt assists the Navy with vessel selection, repair, and operational planning. He also works as a recreational vessel surveyor, where his commitment to transparency and regulatory compliance ensures that every vessel meets all required standards.
